Government Policy in Social Inclusion (COSP19 Side Event).



This side-event will provide an opportunity for Timor-Leste to present its policies and initiatives for the implementation of the CRPD, and to share experiences, progress, challenges and lessons learned. It will also provide an update on the preparation of Timor-Leste's initial report under the Convention and highlight the importance of continued engagement with Member States to support effective implementation and cooperation.


This integrated event will provide information and commitment through and integrated questions and discussions from other countries participating in the side event. This will also provide an opportunity for Timor-Leste to improve action plan and ensure the implementation of policies.

Participants of this event will be approximately around 70 from different countries including policy makers, workers, agencies, educators, youth representatives, the media, civil society and various parties.
